Giant Adansonia digitata (Baobab)
This is just a teaser photo!
At any other time or place, this Adansonia
digitata would be considered a magnificent specimen. However, growing in
the same location as the 'Giant' Adansonia digitata (Baobab), this one is
considered quite small!
The reason this specimen is so unknown,
even in South Africa, is that the owner prohibits entry onto his property
in order to protect this plant! Luckily, I was in the company of a couple
of his friends, and we were given permission to view and photograph this
magnificent Baobab!
